Even though I made this graph, it is also kind of wrong. Fable is guardrailed Mythos. If we use the Mythos date https://t.co/1UrdGNuPE2
I took the new AA-Briefcase scores from @ArtificialAnlys (basically having the AI do multi-week consulting gigs with a lot of complexity) and graphed the frontier curve for open and closed models: 1) Surprise, rapid gains! 2) The open weights gap is clear https://t.co/a1QGQC2hey

๐ Meet PRX Pixel. Our new open-source 7B text-to-image model that generates images directly in pixel space. After months of pretraining on hundreds of millions of images, supervised fine-tuning, and preference alignment, we're excited to share a first public preview. The weights are already available, and we're currently working on integrating the model directly into Diffusers ๐คto make the model even easier to use. Test it yourself in the demo below. And as always, we'll be sharing the full story behind the model through a series of technical blog posts covering the entire training recipe. Link in the comments ๐
The decades-long prison sentences imposed on a group of Texas activists who were protesting against ICE, using the guise of "terrorism," are an outrage clearly designed to suppress such activism. https://t.co/bkxDrPHLxS

Putin's cannon fodder: "The average life expectancy of a new recruitโfrom arrival at a training ground to death in a combat zoneโlies...between 10 days and 3 weeks. Once...sent onto the battlefield, Russian fighters survive an average of 20 to 35 minutes." https://t.co/i8qfgxl220

Samir Menon @blintzbase and I are thrilled to announce Sail @sailresearchco ! We build infrastructure for long-horizon agents: inference served at unbeatable prices-per-token for open models, plus sandboxes designed to run for days, weeks, or longer. We've raised $80M, w/ our seed led by @Sequoia and series A led by @KleinerPerkins. We're using this capital to build the most efficient infrastructure for long-horizon agents. What makes agents so different? Unlike a human waiting at a keyboard (top priority: speed), agents need scale, reliability, and sustainable cost. Sail finds this efficiency everywhere in the stack: we carefully choose our chips, write custom inference engines, and run a global controller that fully utilizes every computer in our fleet. Tight integration from silicon to API lets Sail open up the cost / latency frontier to our customers - the most patient agents can now access 10x more intelligence per dollar. We're excited to be working with great companies like @parallelweb, @detaildotdev,@Jackandjillai, and @quadrillion_ai to deploy long-horizon agents with trillions of tokens. Our team is thoughtful in our engineering craft and relentlessly ambitious in our pursuit of peak performance. We previously trained at companies like NVIDIA, OpenAI, Google, and so many trading firms. Now we're ready to do the work that will define our careers, in the most compute intensive market of all time. Welcome to the era of abundant intelligence. We can't wait to build with you!
@iamtrask Iโm not sure what the source is, but some people are reporting that these are the questions which proves me correct that the right-leaning position is evil and/or dumb. https://t.co/n5g2QumhPc

We have a little over 24 hours to save the internet. The vote is being rushed to the US House floor on Monday the 29th. "Buried inside the KIDS Act are provisions that will push online services to verify all usersโ ages, require government-directed moderation policies for online speech, and even create new rules about private and encrypted communications." -- EFF https://t.co/4vVQcYPDct The bill has bipartisan support and large corporate donors, who all have a vested interest in eroding your privacy and freedom of speech. Similar bills have already passed in other countries and individual states and led to ID scanning mandates, faulty AI moderation, the removal of encrypted messaging, etc. If passed, some platforms will require ID scans from all users, some may try to deploy faulty 'estimation' technology that will randomly trigger and cause your accounts to be either permanently deleted or locked until you fork over an ID. These systems have been a disaster where deployed in other regions and led to many account losses and data breaches.

llama.cpp adds MTP for the Qwen3.6 family This is a significant milestone for the local AI ecosystem. The performance jump with these changes is massive and elevates local inference on commodity hardware further. Special thanks to Aman Gupta for leading this development! https

As my time in Pittsburgh comes to an end... I'm excited to share that I will be joining UIUC as an Assistant Professor in fall 2027! I will recruit PhD students in both ECE and CS. Iโm looking for students and postdocs who are excited to continue building towards collaborative AI systems that learn and adapt through interaction.
Can an AI agent surface why an ML paper might be hard to reproduce โ just by reading it, without running any code? We build ReproRepo, a framework for auditing reproducibility with agents. Across 1,149 recent papers, the best agent surfaced a semantically related, human-reported reproducibility blocker for ~90% of them. ๐งต๐

This is what a corporate campus should look like. Not the other: https://t.co/m85XM5flZq

There's only one dimension that matters for your office and it's the size of the base plate For every set of stairs, you reduce the likelihood of bumping into people serendipitously by double-digit percentages The NVIDIA office is specifically built so you always have a wide view angle. It's designed to maximize contact.

What happens when an AI agent recognizes that an action is unsafe, but executes it anyway? In this clip from PyTorch Conference Europe 2026, Besmira Nushi, Senior Manager, AI Research at NVIDIA, examines the โaction-thought disconnect,โ a failure mode in which a modelโs expressed reasoning does not match the action it takes. Using an example from computer use agent evaluation, Nushi explains why task-completion scores alone may miss critical failures and argues for evaluating the full execution trajectory. ๐ Watch the full keynote: https://t.co/Tow3g4PGlm #PyTorchCon

One runtime, multiple GPU architectures, and zero vendor-specific model code. In this blog post, the TokenSpeed team @lightseekorg introduces TokenSpeed-Kernel, a portable, high-performance kernel system built for modern LLM inference. Using GPT-OSS 120B as a case study, they show how specialized kernels for @AIatAMD and @NVIDIAAI GPUs can seamlessly coexist behind a common API. This unified approach delivers up to 3.6x higher throughput on the AMD MI355X, all without requiring any changes to the underlying model logic. Link to blog in comments section ๐
The age of AI requires a new solution to cybersecurity challenges. Today, the Linux Foundation and industry leaders launched Akrites, a coordinated effort to defend critical open source software against AI-enabled cyber threats. Frontier AI can find software vulnerabilities in minutes. Akrites introduces a shared SIRT and a standardized, confidential disclosure process to remediate vulnerabilities upstream before they are exploited. Read the open letter and learn why top organizations are joining together in this critical effort https://t.co/sgyZ7Gajec

โOpen source foundations exist to create the conditions for the industry to do hard work together that no single organization can do alone. Security is no different. AI has fundamentally changed the math on vulnerability discovery, and going it alone is no longer just inefficient; it's dangerous. Efforts like Akrites pave the way for the widest possible participation and the largest possible impact.โ Mark Collier, Executive Director, PyTorch Foundation @sparkycollier Read the Akrites open letter: https://t.co/4bgWRRlo4d Learn how to get involved: https://t.co/2tXqRecRf8
