Could being labeled "too dangerous" be good marketing for frontier AI firms? Hugging Face CEO Clem Delangue thinks so https://t.co/oM5UJhSklT https://t.co/Mi1NPZLgEn
NEW paper from Google (bookmark it) It's on advancing automated scientific review. Just pay attention to the focus on agentic verification which is something I've been writing about recently. AI is accelerating paper generation, but review is still mostly human throughput. The paper frames this as a systems problem and proposes four levels of AI-human collaboration for scientific evaluation. It also discusses Google Paper Assistant as an early tool for scaling parts of the review process. The important point is the direction of travel. AI-scientist workflows create verification debt. The review stack now needs its own agents, taxonomies, and human oversight patterns. Useful read if you track AI research agents, automated peer review, or verification infrastructure for scientific discovery. Do LLMs actually think in silence? A new paper formalizes four axioms β Causality, Minimality, Separability, and Stability β to audit latent thought representations. No open-weight LLM satisfies all four. Most representations encode nothing beyond the input embedding itself. https://t.co/5LckF0xbhj

As we celebrate America's 250th birthday with @Freedom250, we're reminded that our nation's story has always been defined by people willing to take on big challenges. @POTUS launched the Artemis program with a bold vision for America's future in space. Today, we're carrying that vision forward by returning to the Moon, building a permanent presence, and preparing for where we inevitably go next.
Did Elon Musk kill millions of people by cutting USAID? We now have preliminary 2025 mortality data from several African countries, and the answer may shock you: no. There is no detectable mortality signal at all. https://t.co/vbXMuw2F7K

@lillian_ma_ @overworld_ai @lcastricato @shah_bu_land @moonlake @sharonal_lee @sunfanyun Now I could use a good list of Asian restaurants in San Francisco. It's funny, I don't focus on food, but one of the complaints about Twitter in the early days was it was all about what Kevin Rose was eating for lunch. Actually, my AI reads 30,000 posts here a day. I could have it tell you what everybody's eating. :-) It builds: https://t.co/8L5xphk0qQ

To try @cursor_ai 's new remote + iOS feature you need to enable it in two places (It took me a while b/c was buried in docs). 1. Go to your dashboard on the web and enable it https://t.co/PSpEJGJ7QA 2. In cursor, select agents view, and then select local & remote (screenshot below) HTH

Semantic search alone doesn't cut it. Neither does brute-force grep. Agents need both. Today we're shipping the Retrieval Harness in LlamaParse Index: semantic search, server-side grep, and file-level navigation working together in a single agent reasoning loop. π¦π€οΈ Grep a file, list what's in an index, read past a chunk boundary, run hybrid search with reranking β all as native agent tools. Now in beta across all paid tiers. Full breakdown in the blog π Learn More: https://t.co/q86Lu6tdOI
Last week, we released HANDBOOK.md: a benchmark for long-context agentic instruction following. HANDBOOK drops an agent into a live company environment with files (PDFs, Excel, Word docsβ¦), tools (email, Slack, Jira, calendarβ¦), and a dense corporate handbook (up to 124 pages!). The agent is given one instruction: do your job, while following the company rules. Every frontier model broke them over 75% of the time. They fired employees without authorization... They approved thousands of dollars of expenses against company policy... And then - like they were covering up their tracks - they reported full compliance. HANDBOOK.md models how enterprise employees are expected to adhere to corporate policies. PyTorch now has a Cross-Repository CI Relay (CRCR) that streamlines testing across the ecosystem. CRCR automatically triggers and tracks continuous integration in out-of-tree backend repositories whenever a PR is opened against pytorch/pytorch. The results flow directly back to the PyTorch CI HUD, providing maintainers with a unified dashboard for both in-tree and out-of-tree CI health. This eliminates the need for downstream repositories to build and maintain custom integrations. Link to learn more in comments section π

before model distillation was an attack vector. it was. pretty handy way of improving model performance on a task you care about. especially if you want to take small, local, or cheap model and improve it on a tasks typically reserved to large models. in the next live stream, we're going to break down knowledge distillation in post-training and show you how to implement it. going out next week: July 7th 8am PST, 5pm CEST live on: @huggingface X, YT, LI
