How one NGO spun a spiders web of 40 activist orgs, gov't officials, legislators & lawyers into passing the UK Online Censorship Act suppressing every US platform and millions of British citizens today. Britain, you got CUKT (Carnegie UK Trust) https://t.co/2G7K9q5PVj
The acronym for the NGO that drafted the UK Online Censorship Act is quite literally "CUKT" https://t.co/gaOQmZbiDy

llama.cpp adds MTP for the Qwen3.6 family This is a significant milestone for the local AI ecosystem. The performance jump with these changes is massive and elevates local inference on commodity hardware further. Special thanks to Aman Gupta for leading this development! https://t.co/vjaMwEpIaR

Calling everyone you disagree with โfar rightโ has destroyed the meaning of the term. Iโm sick of seeing serious labels abused to smear ordinary people with legitimate concerns. In 2015, before Brexit, over 50% of the country was concerned about immigration. Does that make half the country โfar rightโ? Throwing these labels around is reckless, dishonest, and damaging to public debate.

Solved it. Tracked down the inference + evaluation bottlenecks and ended up cutting runtime by 3x. GPU throttling was absurdly high. Codex genuinely helped a lot and its capabilities are impressive, but after spending hours pushing both Codex and Claude at their limits, I'm even more convinced they're still far from replacing Honestly the satisfaction I got is just another kind of high **Also got crazy number of impressions, it's always the most low effort tweets
Asked Codex to fix a multi-GPU inference bottleneck. GPUs were barely utilized, inference was throttling and instead of tracing the pipeline it spent 10 minutes checking whether I had "Python 2.8 or 2.9" installed. The tendency for coding agents to spiral away from the active b

AI hype can be pretty easy to find. But clear explanations are definitely harder. Deep Learning with R, Third Edition by @fchollet and Tomasz Kalinowski helps cut through that noise with practical examples that build your understanding step by step, so you learn why deep learning models work, not just how to run them. Releasing my first kernel on @huggingface: MaxSim Late-interaction retrieval (ColBERT / PyLate) bottlenecks on materializing the full similarity matrix. This kernel avoids it by using tiled scoring with simdgroup_matrix (Metal) and WMMA. Result is 3โ5ร speedup compared to naive PyTorch. Try it out ๐

Grok Summary of Elon Muskโs interview at the Samson International Smart Mobility Summit today. 1. Strong praise for Israelโs innovation edgeโจElon called out Israelโs outsized impact, saying it โpunches way above its weight, probably #1 in the worldโ in innovation per capita. He expressed clear admiration for the countryโs tech ecosystem, especially in AI and mobility. 2. Tesla FSD & unsupervised robotaxis โ near-term reality โขUnsupervised robotaxis are coming soon. โขTesla is already running driverless tests in select Texas areas. โขFSD availability: Elon stated it will roll out in both the US and Israel by the end of 2026. โขAs the AI improves, cars will feel increasingly โalive.โ โขPrediction: In about 10 years, most driving will be AI-handled. 3. Humanoid robots โ abundance economyโจElon painted a future where humanoid robots (Optimus and others) vastly outnumber humans. This shift, he said, will create massive abundance and could enable ideas like โuniversal high income.โ He framed smart mobility as part of this broader robotics/AI revolution. 4. Starship, multi-planetary life & Neuralink โขStarshipโs rapid reusability is the key unlock for becoming multi-planetary and building cities on Mars. โขNeuralink was briefly highlighted for restoring function to people with paralysis or vision loss โ described in one summary as potentially โJesus-levelโ impact. โขAll of these threads (autonomy, robots, space, brain interfaces) connect to one overarching goal: โmaximize the probability that civilization has a great future.โ 5. Balanced optimism with risk awarenessโจClassic Elon: big-picture excitement tempered by realism. He noted risks (including rogue robots/AI) but emphasized proactive development and deployment as the path forward.
One Pass Is Not Enough: Recursive Latent Refinement for Generative Models "We introduce RTM, which replaces the single-pass latent mapping in style-based generators with an iterative refinement process, and show that this consistently improves both quality and diversity" "RTM achieves the highest precision and recall among current state-of-the-art approaches while maintaining competitive FID" "Unlike flow-matching baselines that achieve competitive FID at the expense of coverage, recursive refinement improves both quality and diversity simultaneously."
This is exactly how you deal with the โlack of diversityโ claim. You need to mock the absurdity of it. Push back. Do not give the woke an inch. This should have been how Christopher Nolan dealt with it. Instead he followed the woke guidelines and desecrated a masterpiece. https://t.co/lcCEuXTi7G

At @SophontAI we want to accelerate towards open medical superintelligence, while doing so carefully with rigorous validation and responsible deployment. We know how difficult this is but we are confident we will succeed and hope to demonstrate that over the next couple years.

DGX Spark just benched 200+ tok/s for Qwen3.6-35B with @AtlasInference on @spark_arena ๐ฅ How's that possible? Providers like Codex and Claude get ~60.
