The dirty little secret that both Chinese and USA humanoid robotics engineers have confided in me is that a generalized humanoid that is safe enough for our homes (and cheap enough) is about five years away. That's a long time to figure out how to get enough sales to keep a company alive. Especially one that hasn't raised the billions others have.
