@polynoamial @saranormous @karpathy @NoPriorsPod Very interesting. My perspective is that the private sector is mainly scaling/commercializing research. Which is also valuable, but I tend to think of that as stuff that would naturally happen anyway. So lower societal impact for individuals wanting to make a positive impact.
