@marcryptonio
In the least surprising news of the year, SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce appears to agree with Marcantonio, one the greatest lawyers to ever walk the face of the earth. A few days ago I had many dipshits on CT yelling at me for suggesting that the reason Galaxy can’t tokenize its publicly traded NASDAQ shares on an L2 is because L2s are centralized and therefore would have to register as Exchanges under the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934. Galaxy can, however, tokenize on @Solana because Solana is decentralized and therefore doesn’t constitute an Exchange for ‘34 Act purposes, among other reasons. Yesterday @GwartyGwart asked Peirce this question and she quite clearly seems to agree with me. As penance for your transgressions, all those who argued with me must apologize and hereinafter refer to me only as “The Law Giver” or the “Master of Laws”.
